Rex FitzGerald leaves the SCAHT – or does he?

Our long-standing colleague and regulatory toxicology expert, Dr Rex FitzGerald, has left his full-time position at our Centre and the University of Basel on 31st May 2021. Rex joined the SCAHT team in February 2010, only a few months after its inauguration. His wealth of knowledge and many years of experience have been instrumental in building the SCAHT’s reputation as a trusted partner for regulatory authorities, research, education and active participation in international committees.

His helpful and open manner, coupled with an Irish sense of humour, will be sorely missed and we thank Rex for his great commitment to the SCAHT and the good times we had together. We wish him all the best for the future and are looking forward to his continuing support as consultant in regulatory projects and through teaching in our master courses.
